Jinwook Kim

Jinwook Kim, Ph.D.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Information Electronics at KAIST, advised by Prof. Sang Ho Yoon. I received my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Graduate School of Culture Technology at KAIST, where I worked in the Visual Cognition Lab under the supervision of Prof. Jeongmi Lee. During my graduate studies, I conducted interdisciplinary research bridging Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and cognitive science.

My research interests lie at the intersection of HCI and Extended Reality (XR), with a specific focus on multimodal interaction utilizing gaze, hand gestures, and EEG and exploring and measuring cognitive features to evaluate novel interaction techniques. My ultimate goal is to augment human performance and enhance immersive experiences through advanced multimodal I/O systems in XR environments.
